The Principal Manchester is just 3 miles from the M62 to the south, from where you simply follow signs to the University; or enter the post code M60 7HA into a SatNav or smart phone.
Parking is available at a reduced rate of £18 for 24 hours/overnight at the NCP Manchester Palace Car Park on Whitworth Street—payable at the hotel, a short walk away. Please take your ticket to reception for validation.
The nearest railway station—Manchester Oxford Road—is directly opposite the hotel and serves destinations in South Manchester and the North of England, including Blackpool, Preston, and Leeds.
Manchester Piccadilly is the main station for the city and is a 10-minute walk from the hotel (or 5 minutes by taxi), serving London, Edinburgh, Cardiff, and more.
Manchester International Airport is about 8 miles, or a 20-minute drive, from The Principal Manchester on Oxford Street. Typically a taxi fare should cost around £20-30.
